BioCO₂ —
feedstock from a renewable source
Biogenic carbon dioxide that we will produce alongside biomethane. A planned alternative to fossil CO₂ for food, beverages, greenhouses and cooling.
BioCO₂
What is bioCO₂?
Biogenic carbon dioxide is produced when biogas is upgraded to biomethane. Once separated from methane and properly conditioned, it can replace traditional CO₂ in many industrial uses.
It is part of the natural carbon cycle and does not add to the total atmospheric CO₂ stock, supporting sustainability and the path to climate neutrality.
What we offer
We are developing bioCO₂ supply with documentation confirming biogenic origin, subject to meeting the quality parameters required by each application. Deliveries will start together with biomethane production at our plants.
Who we work with
- carbonated beverage producers
- greenhouse and covered-crop operators
- food and processing sectors
- cooling and dry-ice production
- companies seeking an alternative to fossil CO₂
- partners seeking long-term cooperation on bioCO₂ supply
Business benefits
Why bioCO₂?
Alternative to fossil CO₂
A stable, biogenic source of carbon dioxide reduces dependence on high-emission industrial processes and the volatile technical-CO₂ market.
Lower product carbon footprint
Replacing fossil CO₂ with renewable carbon dioxide lowers the emissions of the end product — from beverages to greenhouse produce.
ESG reporting support
Documented, renewable origin strengthens ESG communications and Scope 3 reporting across the supply chain.
Circular economy
Using the CO₂ stream from biomethane production rather than emitting it supports circular and local-resource goals.
Supply-chain advantage
Lower-emission feedstock is an argument in tenders, with premium clients and with retail chains demanding environmental data.
Local source
BioCO₂ from Polish plants shortens the supply chain and cuts logistics risks linked to imported technical CO₂.
