Technology
How is
biomethane made?
iomethane is purified biogas that meets natural gas specifications and can be injected into the national gas grid. It is produced from local agricultural feedstock and biowaste through anaerobic digestion, before being upgraded to grid quality.
The process also produces digestate — a natural organic fertiliser that returns to the fields and supports a circular flow of nutrients.
