About the project
The Iłówiec Wielki biogas plant, located in the Czempiń municipality, joined Galia's portfolio in 2025. It is an operating 0.5 MWe agricultural installation running on agricultural feedstock and local biowaste from food processing.
The plant generates electricity and heat in cogeneration. It supplies the power grid with around 4,000 MWh of electricity per year.
