A 1.2 MWe agricultural biogas plant generating electricity and heat in cogeneration.
About the project
Agricultural cogeneration plant, part of the local energy system
About the project
The Michałowo biogas plant joined the Galia Green Power portfolio in 2026. It is an operating agricultural installation made up of two independent cogeneration units of 0.6 MWe each.
The plant produces electricity and heat in cogeneration. Annual electricity output is around 10,000 MWh, while the installation supplies about 15,000 GJ of renewable heat to the local district heating network.
Feedstock comes primarily from surrounding farms and agri-food processing facilities. In this way the plant supports the local circular economy and creates a stable market for regional suppliers.
